Self-healing

It fixes itself.
Then it tells you.

Every player judges its own picture. A black screen — or one face of a two-sided pillar that failed to wake — is caught within five minutes and rebooted on a careful ladder: once, again an hour later, a third time only at night. A person is called only if the screen still needs one.

It runs on the device, so it works even when the network does not.

07:42Black screen — the picture went dark during opening hours.
07:47Confirmed — dark for five minutes, three captures in a row.
07:47Rebooted itself — the first step of the ladder.
07:50Back on air — nobody drove anywhere.

Field operations

Built for the street.

Open Screenry on a phone at the kerb and it already knows where you are: the screens nearest to you, whether each one is airing, and the three buttons that matter — Live, Reboot, Out of service.

A screen marked out of service stops counting as a fault. It lifts itself the moment ads air again.

Network status

The whole network,
on one page.

How many screens are airing, how many are online, what played, and every fault by kind — measured continuously, with each site’s scheduled dark hours left out, so a screen switched off at night is never counted against you.

Remote operations

Update every screen.
Sleep through it.

Software rolls out to the whole fleet from the dashboard. If a release will not start, the player puts the last good version back by itself — measured at 51 seconds, with nobody involved.

Screen layout, time zone, capture rotation and opening hours are set centrally and applied by the device. What is behind each modem — controllers, sister players, sensors — is inventoried, unless a site asks you not to look.

Every screen keeps a picture of itself every 53 seconds for four weeks, so you can scroll back to any morning and see exactly what was on air.

Audience and proof of play

Every airing counted.
Every viewer estimated.

Screenry counts what every screen actually aired, hour by hour. Its audience model combines road traffic counts, public-transport boardings, pedestrian counters and national demographics into contacts, reach and frequency for each screen.

Turn any campaign into a reach report — whole audience and target group side by side — and share it with your customer as one link. Direct and programmatic sales are attributed to the screens that aired them.

Built alongside Broadsign.

Screenry works next to the player software you already run. It reads what Broadsign plays and sells — Control, Direct and the programmatic SSP — and adds everything around it: the device, the picture, the site and the people in front of it.

Everything on record

Every sign-in, failed sign-in, reboot and settings change is logged with who and when.

Credentials sealed

Third-party passwords are encrypted at rest and never shown or stored on a device.

Updates that undo themselves
